Extreme Diplomacy Game Mode

2K Games today announced a new game mode that will be included in the upcoming "Civilization V" sequel called Extreme Diplomacy, which allows two world leaders to enter a death match fight if normal diplomacy fails.

Two world leaders enter; one world leader leaves. The victor will obtain complete control of the challenger’s world empire.

Even though it's an obvious April Folls' joke, it'd be nice to see such a feature on the negotiation table.

Remember in All Quiet on the Western Front, when one of the soldiers suggested that the world leaders duke it out themselves with swords and clubs?

I wish this was real. Maybe different moves could have tech requirements, ("We the People" democracy, "Metsu Mass media" mass media).
