Well religions are that new part of the game that we will have to be used to it, but religions are not decisisive momement in the game, you cal always switch to a different religion if it is suitable.
I have impression that you don't play Civ4 at all. What are you grumbling about? "Noble level" is the level where neither player or AI have advantages, that's "even" level, nobody cheats.
I don't know why Firaxis keep these stupidities in the game. I think in Civ4 these kind of things are even more highlighted and I just get that dumb feeling of the game when such thing happens.
And you really think that modern helicopter which carries enough rockets, bullets and guided missiles to destroy one city and with equipment like night-vison, infrared, automated targeting etc. could lose battle against some bunch of peasants peasant armed with hunting rifles? They weren't...
Hahahaha...yeah, maybe rifleman shot some bird in the sky and then dead bird somehow fell through the open window into pilot's eye and helicopter crashed.
Yeah, I think it was "don't try it at home" promotion.
I think Firaxis should make some special warning about this new feature, many players will trade like they did in Civ4 and then they will sell out resources.
It happened today when I was playing. I think that helicopters are generally underestimated in the game, they sould be more stronger and powerful. How could some rifleman from 19 century shoot down Apache helicopter for example?
And that just one single rifleman unit? That's nonsense.
Well yes, in Civ 3 you couldn't trade anything that you don't have spare. In Civ4 it seems on bargain table everything goes, so you should be careful not to trade resources of which you posses just one item.
I have read in Civilopedia that when you trade with someone for example Crabs, and you see on your bargain table Crabs (1), that you actually lose that resource beacuse you traded it and you only had 1 resource of Crabs. Does that mean that we sould trade for only those resources on bargain...
I have solution that MAYBE will help you. Try to run game not from desktop shortcut, but find exe file in game folder and then click it to start game. Maybe it will work!
