Why do you use Comic Sans in your signature. Why do you hate humanity.
I can't really disagree with you there. Of course, as a free market capitalist I have no objection to people getting fired for using marijuana on the job, that's life:p

I'm not 100% certain what effects marijuana has, but I have heard its not as bad as cigarettes. Since I want to legalize everything, this isn't really my biggest argument, but I do occasionally use it on conservatives that couldn't be convinced either way:p

I think marijuana may have more effect on the mind, but I do know for certain nicotine is more addictive. The thing is, since its legal, users, even people who are seriously addicted, can live quasi-normal lives.

But yeah, I agree with you that pilots shouldn't be using it while flying or paramedics while working. I don't think those people should be using alcohol during their jobs either though.

The fact that the Federal government basically claimed that they can't nullify the unconstitutional Federal law is really ticking me off .
Just wondering, what did you think of the pot legalization votes in Colorado and Washington?

Not the fact that they did it, I know you disagree with that, but would you agree with me that the Federal governnment shouldn't interfere with it?
All he said is that it will be wiped off.

Gosh, I feel like an apologist for the Iranian regime. I'm not. I think Israel, while imperfect, is a far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far better country than Iran.

But Iran is going to get the nuke. There's nothing we can do about it long term. And they aren't suicidal enough to nuke Israel.
I think he's specifically addressing their government and their actions towards Palestine.

I think he (Ahamdinejad) is wrong, of course. I support Israel, although I think they should learn to take care of themselves so we don't have to be constantly involved in the region (I want to go back to a Jeffersonian foreign policy) I wish Israel the best of luck in all its endeavors as we go back home and start paying the debt:p

But I don't think Ahmadinejad is going to nuke Israel.
Therein lies the thing though, they specifically mentioned the REGIME not the COUNTRY and they didn't necessarily suggest violence. In fact, that fourth quote specfically implies nonviolent methods.

I've got no love for Iran, but I do not want our country to bomb them.
I'm not quite sure the Iranians with the power have actually said they would wipe Israel off the Earth. I know that one of the Iranian quotes was taken out of context and they really said that Israel would fall like the Soviet Union (Read: Without war.) Honestly though? Israel is itself nuclear-armed. So I think they're fine.

There are certain circumstances when I would reluctantly vote for a pro-choice libertarian (I don't really count Gary Johnson as pro-choice since he would allow state level bans to occur, whereas the Democrats defend Roe v Wade for the most part) but I'd never vote for a typical Republican who was pro-choice. I just disagree with way too many of their positions at this point. Sometimes people think I'm an ultraconservative and other times they think I'm an ultraliberal depending on whether we're talking about economic or foreign issues:p

Can you believe Bloomberg used to be a Republican?
Snowe and Giuliani are pro-choice, and I absolutely hate pro-choice Republicans. (I don't know Collins at all.) Pro-choice Democrats are bad enough but at least they usually aren't absolute warmongerers on top of it. If the Republican Party ever went pro-choice without changing any of its other positions I'd be tempted to support the Democrats just to spite them. I don't care if they compromise on gay marriage, but if they don't keep the pro-life plank I will never, ever vote for them. I'm already probably not going to. I already hate their stances on war, torture (I used to agree with it until I realized it absolutely, positively does not work) domestic surveilance, drugs (Even if you believe drugs should be illegal it is a state issue and possession of marijuanna is not worthy of a huge prison sentence) and almost everything NOT related to the economy:p

I hate the Democrats too of course. Obama is taking the worst from George W. and being even worse on the economy to boot.
I actually kind of liked Huntsman until I realized he did in fact endorse a possible military strike on Iran.

The whole Iranian thing is the greatest lie of the right. They never actually threatened Israel. Feel free to ask MagisterCultuum about it if you don't believe me, but what they actually said was that Israel's regime was going to collapse "Like the Soviet Union." They never actually, directly threatened Israel. Nevermind that Israel itself is nuclear armed so an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel is laughably unlikely. I don't think its our job to police what nations can and cannot have nuclear weaponry.
Just wondering, is there any Republican you WOULDN'T vote for?

I have practically no ideological attachment to the GOP anymore. I'm actually a fiscal conservative that wants to cut spending. They want to lower taxes and increase spending and hope it somehow works. I want life to legally begin at conception. They want to play a few mind games to make us think that they believe that. (Its not even just that they support the rape and incest exceptions, I could wait until another day to fight the 1% if they got the 99% right, but they have shown me time and time again that they aren't pro-life at all.) I want to go back to the Jeffersonian foreign policy, the Republicans want to try to have a Republic at home and an Empire abroad, which I have become convinced is impossible.

"Conservatism" doesn't work when the status quo isn't good:p
If the Republicans (Or Democrats for that matter) give me a candidate that I consider passable (Or at least significantly better than the other guy, I wouldn't vote for Romney over Obama because the difference between the two is too insignificant to not vote for Johnson. But I'd vote for Romney or Obama if Hitler was the opponent) I'll vote for him, even if the LP candidate is somewhat better, since they are unlikely to have any chance.

However, if the Republicans continue to provide warmongering drug warriors who spy on their own citizens I am not going to vote for them even if they are a tad better on the economy.
That's obviously true, and I don't disagree. Although I'll remind you Bush sounded far better in 2000 than he actually was.

If his foreign policy was annything like George W. I'd sooner vote for his Democrat opponent:p (Depending on who, obviously.)

I have a feeling I'll likely be voting Libertarian for awhile. I don't see either major party giving me a candidate I can vote for with a clear conscience anyway.
Oh no you didn't. You're a heretic, and you blaspheme against anchovies, God's gift to pizza lovers. I pray for your soul, that you may repent in time from your actions.
