    The issue I have is that more devs / publishers of PC gamers are leaving it to modders to fix their games for them (for free). I won't support devs / publishers by purchasing their games at full price when they're taking advantage of modders like that.

    Well, I am of the opinion that if devs like Firaxis don't think fixing the AI and Civ6 bugs aren't really worth the monetary investment, then my buying the rest of the Civ6 products isn't worth my monetary investment as well. Fortunately, I only wasted $12 on Civ6 and 2 DLCs via HumbleBundle...

    The other games devs aren't focused on "catering to the masses" the way Civ games do. If anything, those other games are looking to outdo each other in complexity and micromanagement in some form or another. For me, Civ games have just the right amount of complexity (if you can call it that)...

    Or perhaps gamers don't want to waste any more time than necessary on an incomplete, buggy game. One where the AI is incompetent and unit sounds still cut out (almost a year after the game's release date).

    Will rise and fall fix major issues? I have my doubts.

    All I'm looking for is Firaxis to fix the AI so that it builds units as basic as aircraft and uses them. That and fixing the unit sounds clipping in and out. I can't believe neither basic bugs have been fixed yet in Civ6. And please don't bother rationalizing why neither issue has been fixed...
