Just bring the ship into a port city, click on the cargo in the "transport" menu, and drag to the city. Or the easier way, just click "unload all" button when in the city, in the bottom right corner of the screen.
So city A has 100 tools, and city B needs only 50. How do I load ONLY 50 tools into the wagon?
The only way I can figure out is to go into the governor's screen and do the import/export thing. But first off, that takes a lot of effort, and secondly I have to remember a few turns later to stop...
Wow the thread took a totally unexpected course. Actually, instead of commenting on the lack of women warriors/clerics, I believe she was making satirical reference to the fact that women have different... ahem... *intrinsic* information-gaining abilities.
I've always wanted to have a missonary be able to hunker down on a contested border and help push it a square in your favor. Or maybe build a chruch like you build a town that has the same effect on surrounding squares.
I've wondered this myself. Have you tried going into WorldBuilder and saving it as a scenario, with the AI you want taken over as well as yourself as a playable empire?

I switched to slavery and waited for a "sacrifice population button" to come up... even after much googling I think it was this forum that told me you had to starve your populace to get it to work. By then the wonder I wanted was already done :(
