Runs fine here. If you notice, there is a (x86) program files folder. I have all manner of 32-bit apps running.

Dunno, but I always got it to work as long as that's all I did. Edited the faction in notepad.

Planetfall is the first event when the ship factions land on "planet".

And not just rivers in your fat cross, the river has to be next to the city I'm pretty sure.

The only civ missing is CANADA:p

I suggest a leader with "creative" trait, it makes the beginning of the game a lot easier and simpler so you can focus on learning other basics.

eco damage is there basically for the reason you just posted... to limit mineral production. If you remove that cap, basically whoever gets to orbital mining first can produce tons of the orbital mineral things. At this point it would be total orbital domination, since the improvements help...

The only bad thing is that the promotions are just summed, so you don't know which individual units have which, and the health is the average of all that type of unit.
