Hi guys. I am just about to get Civ 4 for my powerbook. I am aware of the official specs, but can you guys recommend anything further, such as more RAM? I run a 1.67 GHz Powerbook with 512 MB of Ram currently. Is it a dumb idea to buy some more RAM or does the game work fine without it...

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but it seems to me that the Longevity Great Wonder comes far too late in the game (Genetics). It comes too late in the game for it to be any real boon to your population, and would seem to logically come more naturally at the discovery of Medicine...

Is it just me or is the tech paradigm, especially in the beginning, quite slow compared to Civ2? The problem gets sorted by the Industrial age, in a Democracy, but it got me a little worried. So is it a part of the game designed to keep us honest and to reflect the hardship of discovery...
