Hi guys, dont get me wrong i love all the bells and whistles in latter civs ( i have bought civ 4 and civ 5) but for some reason i also like "basic" games the some people may call "dumbed down". One question do any of you think its worh buying if i find copy?

I hisitated buying civ 4 untill 3 years after release. Can some one please tell me how civ 4 was before patching. I still hope that civ 5 in future patches will become an even better game, then those of us who still keep civ 5 can gloat in the faces of those who sold it :lol:.
