You can sell stuff on TurboSquid, but all my stuff is free so no royalties for me. Blowing things up in OFP is more fun than filling in tax forms anyway :D

Sorry to bump this :D but I thought I'd share some info regarding the 3d model that I made to create this unit. I stuck the model on TurboSquid and someone then put it into the game 'Operation Flashpoint'. There's a YouTube video about it right here

You can only manipulate a robot (ie a model with a skeleton in it) if it is inserted into OpenFX as a "robot" (and NOT as a "model") AND ONLY at a costume keyframe. Models are posed at costume keyframes in the same way they are moved in movement keyframes and sized in size keyframes. Hope...

You have to remember that for most of us, unit-making was just a hobby, and it's incredibly time consuming. Just to create working Civ3 flcs from the finished animations for my Space Marine unit pack took four days alone. It would have taken even longer if I wasn't using bulk image editing...

Thanks, but I'm not really making units anymore. I'm mostly playing Everquest 2 now. This Horus unit I finished months ago but just couldn't drag myself to post it.

You mean this one? Yes I did. I'm even using that pic as the title screen for my almost abandoned Horus Heresy scenario :D

He's a king unit ... well ... more of a god unit actually. He was courpted by the dark chaos gods and sent against The Emporer of Mankind, a living god himself, so he just has to be big. :) Plus I had to make him larger than my Space Marines which were rather large to begin with.
