i agree with super that analysing an specific .sav of an HOF attempt in progress is not an good idea. However some general comments are possible. Not having played regent i can't tell you absolutely if your score is an good one but i would suspect it isn't as good as it could be. But much...
think of it this way Apollo and Manhattan are knowledge wonders Knowledge once gained can not be lost. Wall Street and Military academy are action wonders which are actively producing things destroy them you lose capability. After in the RL it has been 58 years since the Manhattan Project ended...
Oh my my I am getting old. The first computer games I played were text driven games because the monitors had no graphic capability. First PC (and i use the term with some sarcasm) had no ROM memory just the basic 640K DOS memory. so any game programs (or any programs for that matter) had to...
Superslug will now begin his self portrait as bleary eyed dairy farmer while keeping his itchy trigger finger strapped to his side knowing one moment of intense boredom could erupt into an sudden military program amd destroy his noble pursuit. The world of Civ awaits the outcome:D
In all...
Regarding "ancient" technology I have Civ installed on a P2 so naturally this utility takes longer to run than advertised but I still find it is an time saver. I can set it up run it go for coffee with friends or work on one the other computers. I may only get 2 or 3 maps selected within my...
100,000 is painful easy on huge maps especially at the lower levels. Had forgotten that Conquests raised the bar to 160,000. Don't have Conquests yet waiting until the new uber computer in April. debating whether to bother taking my shot at HOF under vanilla or waiting for the faster beast...
Certain amount of culture pressure there super.:D Brings up an question in my mind Can an active capital be flipped? And arent you afraid of having some your villages flipped there? Guess that is two questions;)
Third question how close are you to the 512 limit and are all those Artemis...
classifies as an oops moment in the annals of Civ. :aargh: Just curious do you often ask the cat for civ advice and info:hmm: And I suppose the most important ? Is the advice any good? Enquiring civers want to know. We appreciate all insights into the addiction
I find it seems to go in cycles for me four or five games like you describe and then four or five games where i am swimming in the stuff. I have read another threads by people who have tested this extensively and the prevailling theory is that clearing your terrain will not affect the appearance...
Kudos to you both. I know this utility will get lots of use here. not only when i make my HOF attempts (coming to an forum near you.) but my general practice games as well. Am looking forward to future updates when your time permits.:goodjob:
Of course an link to the file will probably...
For vanilla civ you could DL the date score calc. utility it would allow you to see how many turns left from certain date don't have the link at my fingertips but it would be in the Creation Customization forum under Utilities
Used it an few times for testing new concepts in early game but since i use the HOF scores as an measuring stick of my game play improvement no intention of using it for full game
wow 9 months without an post on this thread glad they fixed the labeling error in modfile library i have been looking for the six advisor thread manually and was going blind:crazyeye: . Finally downloaded the file and they look great. I love science but even think the science adviser was...
I think going chieftain is the only viable choice you have. still plenty of wggle room on that board. And the other levels may prove too difficult to expand large enough to milk to an score without polishing your swords, Again i salute you. Not only are planning to monger peace on large scale...
