From the main map, each city has that bar underneath it that shows, among other things, pop, city name, item being built, etc. Is there a mod out there that maybe shows food, happiness, etc? Like something that would show below the bar like: +2 Food Icon +1 Happiness Icon

I think one of the better things to come to Civ IV is the inclusion of religion in the game. It's a concept that is quite overdue based on the role religion has played through history. However, I can't escape this PC, touch-feely feeling I get from the way they modeled religion in the game...

Each unit should have a counter that tracks how many enemy units it has killed.

There should be the rare, rare chance that an elite unit could be promoted to Legendary status. The unit would gain another hp, maybe a bonus to either attack or defense. Perhaps it would get some sort of great leader's name attached to it. For example, Patton's Third Army.

Ability to add notes to the map. These notes would be able to let you name rivers, lakes, mountains, deserts, for example. Maybe these names could be generated randomly and be tribe specific for geographical features located within your borders.

For instance, The American Modern Armor should be the M1 Abrams and the English Modern Armor should be the Challenger (or whatever their MBT happens to be. )
