I wonder if turning the Changjiang from a river into a sea would change the map dynamic. it is afterall where many naval battles are fought... Chibi for one.. :)
It look very nicely done. btw does the river follow the new current path or their ancient route?
Dalai Lama wanted socialism, religious freedom and democratic all while basically lording over his people in a theocratic dictatorship... so it could work... :p :p :p
I like the fact that we get more option, why restrict ourselves to narrow scope.
Hex map, no stacking, city now take damage, given how they are moving toward ROTK format... there is alot of stuff CIV5 could look at and learn from ROTK.
for example in the game the pikeman can push unit back 'alexander style' hence opening a gap in the enemy line. higher experience unit...
i think it is intentional. some civ get extra buildings instead of units, depending on the effect of those building... might be interesting... I personally like extra buildings to unit, I am a builder person... :king:
i really hope they copy koei's romance of the three kingdoms... the ability to push enemy unit back would make it more realistic else it would be trench warfare from 4000BC to 2000AD...
if you not cut it now, it is going to balloon when soliders hit retirement, this is a bomb like social security. china has been undergoing troop reduction as well. this increase is in USD, Yuan has been raising abit so it is only natural for the number to get bigger.
it would be a stupid move...
there was no issue this year(yet). other than the trucker strike last year(was this report in the west?), there is no protest in tibet since.
both side saw few death it has been sensationalised by the media on both sides, it's just a riot not a war, you are safer in tibet than mexico or gaza.
the US included, the US figure also do not include nuclear, veteran and some operation cost.
you might be surprise to learn that a large part of china's military increase is due to officers pay rise. it is not cheap finding people with management ability who can get paid more in the private sector.
too many islands. some islands are even on the wrong side of the map.
taiwan should already be occupied by japan before the war.
was siam/thailand missing? they serve an important role as a japanese staging area.
city position weird, because map is weird. lol.
still, nice work.
i brought some already, but i haven't finish the game yet..
are you sure you have enough money and the tech preq?
what tech you try buying and how much buck you got?
neither CCP nor KMT will agree on using Mao as leader of china in WWII.
it is just historically wrong and it is not like PRC would oppose KMT, KMT isn't Nazi;
in fact CCP is working toward building ties with KMT in hope for a peaceful reunification.
it wasn't needed... other then to save a few...
historical Mongols didn't manage to completely defeat the Chinese until they have western trebuchet. million of superior horsemen weren't really useful against tall Chinese citadel like Xiangyang. the Mongol then brought engineers from Persian/Arab to china to construct counterweight trebuchet...
my complain is it is very hard to tell how much potential a solar system has...
just how do i figure out how valuable my enemies system are and which to invade 1st?
we don't need another emperor. Qin is the best! :king:
for modern china, it should only be Sun Zhongshan (or his cantonese name)
nobody seem to call him by his real name... what was his birth name again?
Mao did not drive the japanese out, the japanese surrendered. in fact the reason why CCP would end up with the advantage is because they captured an impressive amount of the japanese gear AFTER japan surrendered, they even got surrendered japanese troop to teach and train them how to fight with...
