I downloaded the orbis soundtrack this morning from the "Welcome to Orbis" thread link. When I try to install or extract ( to any folder ) I get a message that an mp3 is corrupt about 30% in. I think it is one of the files under the "leaf" folder. I try to ignore but finds more corrupt files.

I used the download on the main link. tried DLing twice. Tried installing 3 times. Even tried extacting to a test folder. could someone try this and see if they get the same issue with the most recent DL?

Anyone else having problems installing the sound track? I am getting error msgs saying the source file is corrupt. It gets maybe 30% through then says one the mp3s is corrupt. The mod itself works fine so far ( seems great by the way! ). Soundtrack, no dice. help?

The only big problem I have had is with the wonder movies. Visually they are fine. The music plays , but cuts in and out. Aside from that, the game runs very good considering my rig is 3 years behind the times.

The wonder movies music is screwed up for me ( "skips" ). Anyone have this issue and find a fix/solution? I have an old soundblaster Live and all the other sounds as far as I can tell work great.

I indeed believe this is related to corrupt directx Installations. I think it somehow plagues ATI users more than nvidia for some reason. When I last installed the new directx I started getting strange dll error messages that included garbage about missing direct x files AND ATI driver...

I have the same problem with sound cutting out in the wonder movies. The opening movie worked fine though, and I have not had any other problems in the game yet.

Interesting idea. It could be a problem loading one of the opening sequences ( often in some "movie" format )and the game just craps the bed.
