NotW XXXVII - The Party [Game Thread]

DrumStudent and Diamondeye look like they mightn't be lynchable as long as the Dragon Sword is owned by someone. It's been the item that's done all 3 accidental lynches, I believe.

Duke Blackstone carried out the first 2 accidental lynches, then suddenly RRRaskolnikov did the 3rd after obtaining the sword.

I'm going to look at Lightfang, the Laughing King. The people closest to the King have been difficult to lynch (DrumStudent, the Jester, and Diamondeye, The Courtesan.) So perhaps the devils are inside the walls, already in residence here, and looking to drag us into their slaughterhouse?
 
Then vote the sword to me, as I can't have items. It'll go on and on being bumped back and forth and at least you won't get any accidental lynches.
 
RRRaskolnikov has the Sword.

Also I notice you have Nollaig sona up underneath your name, Takhisis. It's strange to see some Irish up. (or is that Scottish Gaelic?) It's pretty much the same in Irish anyway, except it's Nollaig shona duit.
 
As I tried (perhaps unsuccessfully) to say in character, there is a difference between avoiding saying anything and not really having much to say. Most of the time a lot of good analysis that I happen to agree with has already been said by the time I get to the thread during day. Being the 3rd to join a bandwagon is apparently something that causes suspicion so I want to avoid that, and while some people can apparently make a 1st accusation and get away with it, others can't. :confused:

Either manufacturing a tie for votes or voting the sword to someone who can't receive it sounds like a great idea. It does seem to be the sword that causes the mislynch, not the player. But I'm not eager for the current holder to die so we have that opportunity.

I bet we all have to agree on Lightfang for it to mean anything.

I will have a look soon. I wonder if the voting pattern of the holder matters too. I am glad to take any action to have a clean lynch this time. Though I am not giving it to a potential wolf.

The noobity defense is not valid, Dave. Avoiding saying anything is called 'lurking', and it doesn't matter whether you have much to say or not. You've barely averaged a post a day until I fingered you. What a coincidence!

Die, Drumstudent. If you're against insane people, you'll have to face the consequences of that opinion. Namely; the votes of the Insane. We are legio.
 
Whatever. This has been used time and time again, but truthfully, if you lynch me, you lynch an insane innocent.

EDIT: I would be willing to bet some of the people who vote to lynch me are werewolves.

Evening Seven


The game was a master stroke of genius, it was unfortunate that there was not enough guests so they had to use slaves as pawns. Also some of the guests kept falling asleep (Stoned Knight) and others (Drunken Pirate) couldn't stay within their square.
"I am tired of this." Slurred the Drunken Pirate. "Didn't we decide a couple of days ago that the Jester was a were wolf?"

"Yeah we did responded" the Stoned Knight. "I even tried to kill him!"​
The Jester leapt at the last statement.
"Aha, so you admit it! You tried to kill me, did everyone here that?" the Jester looked around to see who was listening. "It proves he is a killer! We should get him!"​
Funny enough, no one paid him much heed. The dwarf yawned and the Stoned Knight fell back asleep.
Well, it is clear the Knight is not up to it." Said the Pirate. " I guess it is up to me to assume the role."​
The Drunken Pirate picked up his newly acquired 'Bloody Axe' He had a restless and menacing grin. His eyes fixated on the Colourful Jester. He ran his finger along the axe blade to check its sharpness
"There will be no messing up this time, you won't be able to dodge this a second time." Jeered the Pirate. "Someone hold him!"​
Both the Feisty Mimic and Beautiful Courtesan jumped up and grabbed one of the jesters arms each. The Drunken Pirate made a throwing motion with the axe, it became clear what his intention was. Suddenly the Mimic and Courtesan became less keen to hold the Jester in place. The Pirate staggered and it was clear that he was seeing double.

"Don't do it!" cried out the Courtesan, Jester and Mimic all at once but it was too late. The Axe left the hand of the Pirate and sailed through the air and right over the top of his intended target and directly towards the Cute Bear-Cub. The Bear -cub was smart enough to keep an eye on things and took a step to the left to avoid the axe. It collided with the wall behind him with a loud clang.
"Well that was an incredible stupid thing do." Said the Dwarven Druid.

"I Agree" Echoed the Blacksmith "Good thing the bear-cub moved out of the way aye?" The Blacksmith looked at the Bear-cub "Good thing Aye?" The Blacksmith faltered. "Are you alright?" He enquired.
"The strangest thing." Said the Bear-Cub as he collapsed in front of the them. The rebounded axe was buried in his back.​

"Oh dear" said the Laughing King. It was the first thing he said all day. "Why am I not surprised?"

"Pirate you better go pull your axe out. And The Druid better claim his walking stick."​
The Dwarven Druid made to grab the walking stick but as he got there he realised that he couldn't carry it.
