A new law has been passed by Our Glorious Dear Drug Tito where its necessary to get a Šljivovica shot. Every adult male with a weight over 50Kg must drink 0.5 l in front of a committee of doctors, if they refuse to come in front of the committee they will be dragged there at gun point. Children will drink 0.25 l and women will also drink 0.5 l. Sljivovica will be delivered every day, with your milk, and it is recommended to be drunk with breakfast. You can only cancel orders since I'm halfway through them. Canceling them wouldn't trip me up as much as changing them would.

OOC: Let me explain how "blitz" attacks work. Basically, the way land battles work is that two armies just go at it and sometimes both sides have armies left. If they both have armies left, I do a victory roll, remember that.

Now, say that a plan calls for a blitz and 25 armies are sent to attack the first enemy territory of the chain. What would happen is that those 25 would go against whoever. If the defenders are COMPLETELY wiped out, then all territories in that blitz line falls.

Say not all the armies are wiped out and the attacker simply wins the victory roll. All that happens is that the front is pushed back and another battle takes place. If the attacker losses the victory roll, then the blitz fails with a penalty.

For balance purposes, I limited blitzing this turn. In theory, a blitz can go on and on and on and on. However, each leg of the jounrney, provided you don't completely defeat the army, incurs a -5% blitz penalty.

Special Events

The USSR received another +5 LP for roleplaying.

The X Virus slowly spreads into another Yugoslavian territory and into Socialist Brazentina. The DB Corporation's territory in South American has been depopulated by the aggressive virus (turned neutral).

The disease looks like it's about to run out of steam soon.

Portugal is blockading 12 of the American Federation territories in protest of the American Federation's aggressive attack against Maryland and in support of the American League. Portugal has NOT declared war and is NOT attacking.

With the North American War escalating, the American League has withdrawn its navy from the European theatre.

The Soviets are blocking access through their controlled seas to Maryland and Egypt.

The Fascist Alliance of Portugal, the American League, and Greater South Africa are demanding the DB Corporation pay reparations for the unprovoked and indiscriminate attack against all ships in the Mediterranean which included League ships.

The Fascist Alliance is blocking DB Corporation ships through their controlled sea territories.

North American War (formally known as the Federation-Maryland War)

"The American Federation has pushed us into this war. The balance of power in North America must be maintained and with Maryland disappearing off the face off the map in North America, it is time for what in time be called the War of League Ascension for the Hegemony of North America is being established today. With naval support from Portugal (who are not invading or attacking in any way), we plan on pushing the American Federation to the table.

The American League dropped paratroopers and landed troops across the Great Lakes along with several other Federation territories. The territories had no defenses as all the troops are congregated on the final Maryland holdouts. This was a major strategic victory for the League.

Meanwhile, Maryland's final army has surrendered in the face of overwhelming Federation force.

Communist Union Civil War (formally known as the Khitan War of Aggression)

"With the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East and the Mediterranean, our Union of Soviet Socialist Republics can no longer afford to stand by on the sidelines. Our armed intervention in this conflict will be decisive.

The Soviet Navy sailed from the Aegean and attacked the Egyptian Royal Navy in the Sea of Crete and the Easter Mediterranean. In this case, the Soviet Navy, while suffering losses, managed to push the Egyptians from the Sea of Crete completely. The Egyptians were caught off-guard and were powerless in the face of the coordinated Soviet attack.

The Soviet Union, with the declaration of war, launched a series of devastating air strikes against the Marylanders and Egyptians. Striking at vital infrastructure. Because of the collapse of Maryland's Army, the Egyptians marched unopposed and blitzed their way through Maryland Libya. One of the first things the Soviets did in the region was set up Socialist Soviets.

The Soviets launched an invasion on the Egyptian-held island of Crete. The Egyptians fought to the death for the island and inflicted more than a 1:1 army destroy ration but the Soviets fought in numbers and took the island.

Another one of those "fight tooth and nail battle" of the Egyptians against the Soviets. Not as spectacular as some of the others and the Soviets once again expand their victory score.

Battle for the Sands

This was an important battle for this war and all future wars in general. The Soviets knew they had to smash the Egyptians here or else their blitz into the interior of Egypt would've failed. Luckily, the Soviets succeeded with minimum losses and established a beachhead from which they did blitz into the interior.
