Mac Mod doesn't work on PC?

Where come all those missing entries from?

I'm not sure if you are saying that you don't get these problems or if you're asking where I got the data to stop the errors. If the latter, then my post should make that clear. If you're not getting the errors then that's a different matter.

No, I have those errors. (well the first one as I didn't solved it)

I'm just wondering why did those entries missed in the first place.

Well the original error probably masked the subsequent errors. As to why all the errors in the first place that presumably comes down to the edits the original creator of the Mod did.

If you copy the amended xml files into the correct locations in the Mod does it allow you to start the game? As I posted earlier you will still get a couple of errors about BONUS_OIL but if you click OK it should then let you start the game.

I didn't see that you edited the post with the files, sorry.

I have only the two same BONUS_OIL errors you mentionned during the start, but as before I can't see any writing. I can blindly start a game, but there is not any writing as well, except some random "TXT_THINGY" in the help infos.

OK, thanks, I was just curious.

I saw the TXT_THINGY items as well, but assumed that was because there doesn't appear to be any real text describing the modded features, so the game just displays the tags.

Is this normal if there is not ANY text at all in ANY area of the whole game? I have to click on empty items and can't have any ingame info.

Errr... That looks like a different problem with your system. My screen, as shown by the attachment, is fine.

Assuming Naokaukodem is running it on a PC, I guess that's another indication of an incompatibility between the platforms. Given the number of problems you've already identified in the Mac version of the mod, I'd say it needs to go back to the drawing board. It should really start as a minimal adaptation the original PC version, without all the additional files that seem to have found their way into it, and capable of being installed in the same place as the PC expects to find it, relative to the Mac file system.

I've posted an updated zip file in the original thread which allows the Mod to load without errors on a PC.
