Late again. The thing about this time of year is that, no matter where you live, this is a time when wardrobes and schedules change of necessity, because this is when the new season arrives with all the urgency (and hassle) of in-laws moving in for a visit. It's also, conversely, a good time to start new projects, and this month New Artists were invited to participate (with a bribe: in return they get to have their own contest this month). For the purposes of the contest, "new artist" means 'anyone who hadn't previously posted a creation to a monthly contest'. Sure enough, one of those won the Monthly Leaderhead Contest:

Artist: Big Bopper
USSR Flag Animated Leaderhead

In the meantime, there was only one Monthly Unit Contest entry this month, so the winner is the King George V Class Battleship Modernized submitted by Delta_Strife, Ares de Borg and Wyrmshadow:

Congratulations, everyone. Your winning entries will go into the Hall of Fame, and will be entered into the Year End Competition.

Now onto this month's PCX competition. Our nominees for best PCX creation of the month of August, 2013 are:

Artist: fishlens
Wonders: Neuschwanstein Castle, Statue of Liberty, St. Basil's Cathedral

(Click for larger view)

and

Artist: Etain
Alternate C3C Unit Action Buttons

Good luck to you both!
