Global
The War on Communism, by L'Accord continued into its 6th year, despite massive forces trying to defeat the U.S.S.R. (More details later)
The Olympics were another success, with Siam coming out as to top medals takers, but it was close competition. As more events get added, the more exciting it will become.
Europe
The U.S.S.R. has lost virtually all of its territories and is now left with just one province. It has sunk its fleets and ocean liners into the harbours and hoped to deter invasions that way.
Meanwhile, Greece has had another civil war, perhaps stoked by outside nations and on top of that its two kings have been assassinated, leading to further turmoil.
Bosnia seemed to be able to shake off collapse, and the caretaker government is hanging longer than expected.
North America
Not much to report here currently.
South America
Not much to report here currently.
Africa
The second scramble for Africa's assets were launched, over Saoirse's original holdings. Canada got hold of the Gold Coast and has retained it as a Jewish state. Guinea was devided between Texas and France, Cameroon was divided between Swaziland and Gran Columbia and Gabon was shared between Swaziland and Australia. Only Nigeria was taken whole by Swaziland. It looks as if their will be a lot of discussion over what to do with these divided provinces.
Asia
Not much to report here currently.
Oceania

Spoiler :
The War on Communism by L'Accord
This was a co-ordinated attack led by France, Swaziland and Medina and supported by its vassals Spain and Greece.
The first phase was the clean-up of Swaziland objectives. The first of these was Sevastopol with an amphibous landing by Greece, which had come through the Bosporus Strait.
When the troops entered the city they found the factories had been stripped and then set alight.
Next up was the clean-up of Poland, which Swaziland was able to do their own.
Again then the troops entered the city, the factories were again stripped and then set alight.
The final phase of the Swaziland Objectives clean-up was Livonia
The usual story was played out here as well. The factories were stripped and then set alight.
Meanwhile, Medina and France was also cleaning up Kazakhstan.
It would seem that U.S.S.R. was actioning a scorched earth policy because the same as the other provinces was found here.
Spains plan for the invasion of Siberia was very well thought out and France eagerly supported it as if it was successful, it would get administration of the province.
While the Spanish were technically inferior with the support of France the battle would be easily decided.
What the troops found was a continuation of the "scorched earth policy" here as well.
With the last of the U.S.S.R. provinces secured, the assault on Russia could begin. And 3 nations would take part in the final assault assured that they would be able to defeat the communists, with their superior numbers.
But is was not to be. The Soviets having stripped their factories for supplies and then set them alight had been able to put up strong fight and were able to retain all their province.
The U.S.S.R. lives to fight another day!!!

Scientific Events
Caterpillar Tracks invented in Texas
Caterpillar tracks are a system of vehicle propulsion in which modular metal plates linked into a continuous band are driven by two or more wheels. The large surface area of the tracks distributes the weight of the vehicle better than steel or rubber tires on an equivalent vehicle, enabling a continuous tracked vehicle to traverse soft ground with less likelihood of becoming stuck due to sinking. The prominent treads of the metal plates are both hard-wearing and damage resistant, especially in comparison to rubber tires. The aggressive treads of the tracks provide good traction in soft surfaces but can damage paved surfaces. Special tracks that incorporate rubber pads can be installed for use on paved surfaces to prevent the damage that can be caused by all metal tracks.
Henri Poincaré discovers the Poincaré sphere, leading him to formulate the Poincaré conjecture in Gran Columbia
In mathematics, the Poincaré conjecture is a theorem about the characterization of the three-dimensional sphere (3-sphere), which is the hypersphere that bounds the unit ball in four-dimensional space. The conjecture states:
Every simply connected, closed 3-manifold is homeomorphic to the 3-sphere.
Epinephrine first artificially synthesized by Friedrich Stolz in Australia
Epinephrine (also known as adrenaline) is a hormone and a neurotransmitter. It increases heart rate, constricts blood vessels, dilates air passages and participates in the fight-or-flight response of the sympathetic nervous system.[2] Chemically, epinephrine is a catecholamine, a monoamine produced only by the adrenal glands from the amino acids phenylalanine and tyrosine.
Vacuum tube invented by John Ambrose Fleming France
In electronics, a vacuum tube, electron tube (in North America), or thermionic valve (elsewhere, especially in Britain), reduced to simply "tube" or "valve" in everyday parlance, is a device that relies on the flow of electric current through a vacuum. Vacuum tubes may be used for rectification, amplification, switching, or similar processing or creation of electrical signals. Vacuum tubes rely on thermionic emission of electrons from a hot filament or cathode, that then travel through a vacuum toward the anode (commonly called the plate), which is held at a positive voltage relative to the cathode. Additional electrodes interposed between the cathode and anode can alter the current, giving the tube the ability to amplify and switch.
Nettie Stevens and Edmund Beecher Wilson independently describe the XY sex-determination system in Librulstan
The XY sex-determination system is the sex-determination system found in humans, most other mammals, some insects (Drosophila) and some plants (Ginkgo). In this system, females have two of the same kind of sex chromosome (XX), and are called the homogametic sex. Males have two distinct sex chromosomes (XY), and are called the heterogametic sex. However, an opposite scheme is found in birds.
Albert Einstein publishes his four Annus Mirabilis papers in Switzerland
In particular, he formulates the theory of special relativity and states the law of mass-energy conservation: E = mc². He also explains the photoelectric effect by quantization and mathematically analyzes Brownian motion.
Alfred Buchi files a patent for the turbocharger in Australia
A turbocharger, or turbo (colloquialism), is a centrifugal compressor powered by a turbine which is driven by an engine's exhaust gases. Its benefit lies with the compressor increasing the pressure of air entering the engine (forced induction) thus resulting in greater performance (for either, or both, power & efficiency). They are popularly used with internal combustion engines (e.g. four-stroke engines like Otto cycles and Diesel cycles).
Alfred Einhorn introduces novocaine in Texas
Procaine is a local anesthetic drug of the amino ester group. It is used primarily to reduce the pain of intramuscular injection of penicillin, and it was also used in dentistry. Owing to the ubiquity of the trade name Novocain, in some regions procaine is referred to generically as novocaine. It acts mainly by being a sodium channel blocker.
Cultural Events
The stage play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up premieres in Greece
Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie (1860–1937). A mischievous boy who can fly and magically refuses to grow up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang the Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Indians, fairies, pirates, and (from time to time) meeting ordinary children from the world outside. In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a variety of media and merchandise, both adapting and expanding on Barrie's works.
The play The Scarlet Pimpernel opens at the New Theatre in France
The Scarlet Pimpernel is a classic play and adventure novel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy, set during the Reign of Terror following the start of the French Revolution.
