None Shall Pass 3 [Game Thread]

Nah, we can talk out here.

I've a claimed gravedigger - I got nothing from BSmith or robbie nights 2 or 3, I tried to target Jarrema night four but was blocked.

I got a vig from Newyn last night, and you'll see me in the writeup killing someone tonight.

So passes a legend... <death rattle>

Spaceman, you should have blocked Al. Tsk, tsk.

Sorry for how much of a mess this turned out to be and sorry for the lame final writeup. Think it might be time for me to hang em up, as far as hosting goes. Clearly there were issues with the game that became even worse due to changes made in reducing the size to 30, and my schedule ended up being a lot busier than I originally thought it would be when I started the game.

Will post details about roles and the original, 36-player setup sometime. Maybe tomorrow.

Lohrenswald blocked Visor, which meant spaceman wasn't converted and dcmort wasn't killed. spaceman changed his order to block Lohrenswald after the deadline had passed. Funnily enough, his standing order was to block Internet Flea, whose order was to protect spaceman.

If anyone's wondering - one of the reasons the final update was so late is because I was trying to figure out a way to make a final showdown work, but I couldn't figure it out.

Oh my god I was useful

So there's no showdown? It's over? :(
Our strategy depended on a showdown
damnit

I couldn't figure out a way to make the showdown fair that wouldn't result in a total slaughter. Numbers were too disparate.

This went pretty bad for LotR

were the 6 roles that didn't make the cut neutral?

Props to Visor for ruining the one opportunity for us to be scum together. :p I also hate weekends because I am usually not able to be active, and let’s face it my last minute lynch was not founded in anything other than damn luck and my inability to really post at all (weekend) to deflect things.

Oh no, BSmith, I totally read you from your single message D1. :) Your OMGUS threw me off, though.

My voting the ring to Visor was a bit of sarcastic fun. D1 votes are almost always devoid of any reason and that one was too. It was solely because he was acting like Gollum and I thought it would be funny to vote the ring to the one that probably shouldn’t have it, canonically speaking anyway. This is a Zack game after all, and Gollum would probably not be a direct threat because of the knee-jerk reaction that usually follows that character is that he is a threat.

I didn’t really care one way or the other if Visor was really Gollum, but his acting entertained me and it was worth the vote. At this time we also didn’t even know if Visor was convertible so it’s not like I was trying to get the ring to someone who would ultimately be on my team.

I probably would have made that vote as a townie too.

The OMGUS vote on the other hand was an attempt to save Visor from the lynch since we knew he was convertible and we didn’t want him to be lynched. The timing and attention to detail were off unfortunately due to my limited schedule on the weekend. Generally speaking for me though OMGUS is not a scum tell. I’ll do it whenever I feel like it mainly because of the perceived notion that it is a scum tell in the first place.

So what you're saying is, me looking scummy won us the game.

Well, he was originally blocking Visor. spaceman never could make up his mind about his night action...
