where is the editor for C3C?

The Editor in C3C is under the Start Menu->Atari->Civilization III Conquests->Civilization III Conquests Editor.

I think Atari may have bought out Infogrames? Not sure, but Atari did C3C while Infogrames did the original.

BTW, Welcome to CivFanatics! [party] :band: :bounce: :banana: :cheers: :beer:

Yes they did if I remember correctly it doesnt install but is on the disc.

That would be complete news to me, and I play on a mac... ;)

@Quinzy & BadKarma: Not true.

I have it direct from Brad Oliver, the lead programmer at Aspyr on Civ3/4 porting, that there is no Mac editor for C3C. There certainly isn't one on my Civ3 Complete DVD.

The only Mac editor that exists is a port of the vanilla Civ3 version 1.21 editor. It used to be downloadable from MacSoft, was never updated for any later Cv3 version, and doesn't work ever so well on current versions of Mac OS X.

Thanks for your help. Disappointing that I don't have access to an editor with C3Complete.

I have been trying to load maps and/or scenrios made by others. Can't do this either. Is it possible or is this also a no-go?

Have you spotted the fact that there is now a patch for Mac C3C, released yesterday? And have you noticed that there's an active Mac forum in which mods are a live topic of discussion currently?
