How To: Make Leaderheads! Ekmek's Guide

 ?
don't sweat it ! You've been doing this for a while. I bet you can't remember all of yer rookie angst. Can little kids, like us big kids block out tramatic events ? I don't mind being a guinea pig to clarify this guide. If there are dead ends or missing steps, you can count on me to find many of them.
:D AND THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!

when blender starts you need to
-Run the import and export script at least once to register the scripts in Blender's configuration system:
File -> Import -> NIF -> Cancel.
Clipboard03-5.jpg
-install the nifscripts into the same directory

... so not into the default directory ...\.blender\... like nifscripts chooses as default

should be

.../plugins/include/ ... ?

I have NifTools and Blender Foundation in in different dir in program files.
I go file - import and export - cancel

my script config window still looks like:

My console window:

Fixed separating instructions to match the picture
Spoiler :

BLENDER – Separating parts
Once you have select the part you want to remove or separate
In edit mode, go to ‘Mesh’
Select ‘Edges’
Then select ‘Mark Seam’
Then select ‘Mesh’ (yes, again)
This time go to ‘Vertices’
This time select ‘Separate’
Now the object is separated

If you want to delete the part go back to object mode and select the part with the right-click then press ‘X’
If you just want that part select everything else (or select all by pressing A and deselect the piece (shift+right click) you want) then press X to delete the piece you don’t want.
If you want to use this as a part to add to another piece make sure the skeleton is deleted then go to the export part of this guide.

I never did all this crap when I installed my nifscripts.

All I did was run the .exe and was done.
