I was torn between A and B but went with A as it's more vulnerable to being eliminated as a site based on American expansion. Actually, I believe A and B could be settled within a turn of each other with our settlers on hand so it's not a big difference.

I agree totally, Shaitan. I would just feel a lot safer if we establish a blockade of wandering neighbors first.

A looks good for first. There are reports of elephants east of site A. We may want to consider pushing our settlement efforts a bit in that direction rather than just settling for the land bridge.

I can appreciate an aggressive expansion Eastward. We should soon have enough horsemen to make defending an extended territory possible. I'd hold off until we get the bridge secure, get our captured resources online and get the proper garrison forces in place.
