From the Primordial Ooze

From the primordial ooze, time immemorial for some, though others don't say a thing. They were just sitting outside their caves eating sunflower seeds to care or remember anything. At least, they think it was sunflower seeds.

But eventually they decided to get off their duffs and out of their caves. It took some doing, because Old Man Pete, like every year, spread the case of March Madness around which is never a pretty sight. People going mad, thinking they are cows, and cow tipping themselves.

But once they got over the Madness, they called themselves Indians and saw the land. And it was good.


And so they formed a city. At least their leader says it is a city. It could be a prison. And sent their bruisers to say hello to the locals north. See how they fared through Crazy Pete's madness.

I also checked the Victory Conditions; there are 6 civs total. So no crazy unexpected two civ game this time.

Also, you may notice I called Asoka/myself Yoshi. I did so cause he called 'subbed' in the previous thread. Whatever that means. It may just mean that Asoka thinks Yoshi makes a good sub sandwich and always gives out Yoshi's name to increase his revenues. So I guess that makes him minister of sub sandwiches and finances?

Good story. But i dont think Yoshiegg will be too happy...

The bruisers visited the neighboring village, checking to see if the Pete's madness had gotten to them. Thankfully, it hadn't and in gratitude for checking up on them the villagers gave the Bruisers 51 gold. Admittedly, it was to order Yoshi's famous sub sandwiches, which they had heard rumor of.

And so the bruisers headed east, and beyond the dusty hills saw another settlement. They were about to say hi, and pitch to them the glories of Yoshi's Subs, but another fellow visited them first. A bloodthirsty sort of fellow...



Quite bloodthirsty. Wanting to sacrifice 50,000 slaves. The whole Indian population was barely 50,000... and so the Indians shuddered in fear at that prospect, and were thankful that Montezuma and his people didn't think them gods. The Aztecs would have spoiled Yoshi's nice sub sandwiches by sprinkling them with blood, and Yoshi, well, he just wouldn't stand for that sort of action. Thankfully, they all ate sub sandwiches in peace.

However, as Monty was leaving the peace feast, another fellow showed up.



Sure he sounded mean, talking about undefended civilizations, but everyone was pretty sure that Shaka was just overcompensating for something. The Indians laughed to themselves, and shared the remaining sub sandwiches with him.

And so there was peace.

So, with another force of clubbers, they explored east and soon spotted another village of what looked to be friendly villagers...



Unfortunately they had forgotten Yoshi's sub sandwiches; and rioted against the poor forgetful warriors.



Fortunately, they were dispatched with ease.

To the south, the warrior expedition group encountered Montezuma's people, and promptly turned around. They didn't want to catch them on a bad day after all. Unfortunately, they didn't ask for directions and barely survived walking into a panther's lair.



And a second city was soon founded!
