Interested in converting ctp units

I'd be interested in converting ctp units to civ3. I have the original ctp, not ctp2, so I don't know if that limits me, but I think some of those units could be good for civ3. So can anyone tell me how to convert these units? I know it has to do with screenshots during the game.

How do I take screenshots during that game? Do I need an extra feature? How do I take pictures fast enough to keep up with the animations? Thanks in advance.

One way to take screenshots is by pressing Print Screen on your keyboard. And then using Ctrl-V to paste that picture into any picture program you want. Paint for example

I am sure I read somewhere that there's a utility to extract the bitmaps from the game for each unit... maybe that was another game tho... *ponders*
