Hi

Is it possible to disable city trading in diplomacy?

I've noticed that large empires usually manage to get a city from smaller empires in peace treaties, even when the smaller empire clearly was doing better in that specific war.

Ideally, I would prefer tweaking diplomacy so that the peace demands reflected both empires' performances in that war (in terms of units killed and cities taken). Short of messing with the diplomacy constants (which sounds a bit finicky), disabling city trading would do away with city gobbling...

Cheers!

Not if you want to include AI <-> AI deals as well.

There's nothing to switch off city trades, and there's no way to make cities so expensive the AI would never consider selling one.

This could be a potential feature in one of the mod DLLs, but natively, you are correct. :)
