Two separate occasions 2 different games. Same scenario
1. Playing as Ethiopia on Immortal, Epic. I see a handful of Shaka's units(warriors,archers, spearmen) heading toward my capital in the ancient era. Just as they encroach my borders to the max, Alex delcares war on Shaka
Shaka promptly pulls back ALL his units from my border to defend against his own invasion. Awesome.
2.Different game. Same deal. Ethiopia, immortal. Except Oda shows up to my door step with the same mix of ancient age units. Seemingly one turn before he declares, it's SHAKA that declares on Oda. And again the units are pulled back.
Both situations were hilarious and extremely good to see. If I had any semblance of a decent military I would've waited for the attackers to engage their enemy and grabbed a city. I'm guessing Alex and Shaka both saw opportunities both times when my aggressors moved their entire military away from home.
