Hi,

I would like to play a game, but instead of start in prehistory, I would like to start in a map that has already advance in history.
For example, start a game that it is in the year 1500, pick up a Civ, and start the game from there.

I have tried the advance start, but it has some limitations.

What I have done, is start a game, and let it autoplay for several turns (hours actually). This way I can start in an advanced year.
This is exactly what I would like, but as said... it takes hours.

Is there a way to have a random generated map, with a number of turns autoplayed?
Or in other words: is there a way to create a random map, with random civilizations already developed?

Thanks!

Basically no.

3 way's you can do this.

1. You mentioned, run auto play for X turns. Do this when going to bed/school/work etc. When you come back to game, its set.
2. Advanced start, enough said.
3. Have some on pass on a saved game, set at the time you wish. You'd need to specify speed, turns, map type (if preference)

Keep in mind, every one has a differing game style.

thanks for your answer.

about the 3rd option, I dont really get it, really, sorry.
Could you explain a little bit further?
