Patch 1.1 will not install

For some reason my CD will no longer install so I extracted the cab1 file to c:games\Test of Time. The program runs but not with videos. I have downloaded the patch from 3 different sources but it does not install. I have downloaded the different codecs but still no luck. I would also like to install the TOTlauncher from Catfish's site but can't do that until the 1.1 patch is installed.
I am running windows 7 and have Civ II Test of Time Classic version.
Can anyone help? This is my all time favourite game.

Managed to get the 1.1 patch installed in safe mode but still no videos. I have tried copying the files from the disc to the Test of Time file and I have installed iv5setup as well as klite codecs but no luck. Any suggestions?

The file attached to the opening post might help unless the indeo drivers you have installed are already up to date.
