The game runs smooth as silk in SP. In MP it lags more and more as time progresses, and enventually freezes / locks up.
What can be done to minimize it ? Thanks for your help
It sounds like some people in the game need to get a better connection or better computer. As the AI, CS and humans produce more and more units/cities there's more for their computers to keep track of. Later in the game that might get overwhelming for their computer or connection. It causes lag for everyone in the game if there's one bad apple.
