Hello everyone, I am a CIV IV BTS fan since I was a kid, and my dad first showed me the game. I grew up playing it, and did so in multiple computers and never had any issues making the game run at all.
Now, with my newest acquisition, the game can't go over 5 fps, freezes A LOT, and is extremely annoying to play because of it.
PC specs: i9-13980HX
RTX 4090 (mobile version)
64GB RAM
4TB SSD
Windows 11
It is obvious that my PC is more than capable of playing the game, but I still can't make it perform well. I looked for solutions everywhere, and never seen similar problems reported. Anyone can help?
PS: attachment shows game OPEN, "working" as described, with literally 0% CPU usage and ONE fps.
