Part B
We feel that Auric is in a bad situation so we sell him some of our precious technology, here you go Auric, hunting. With this maybe your people can finally eat.
Then we found the city of Sant Mapfre to harvest the precious gold.
While doing a boat ride we meet a new friend.
The next military target is the city of Ballinasloe. It is very weakly defended compared to the last one. Alongside the usual fireballs and cannonballs, a single tsunami is used, and the city falls like a a pile of domino. No casualties on our side.
Then a pretty cool event helps us get closer to our goal of obtaining Harlequins.
Glens of Killybegs. A pretty funny name for a city. But what then happened to it is even more fun.
Then those filthy tree huggers DEMAND that we stop trading with the vile Bannor. Of course he hate the Bannor but we are not going to let a bunch of weakling wood elves tell us what to do. We request money as compensation for the insult.
And just look at what our privateer found when sailing the northern waters at the east of the Elohim. There is meat for a whole month in this one.
Finally we have animal handlings, time to get some Harlequins.
Of course, no good deeds shall go unpunished...
Then apparently Auric took an arrow to the knee... Those Luchiurp or whatever you spell it probably are probably to blame.
BTW, just saw this scene while spying with the parrot, looks like the Bannor love to settle dangerous places.
But wait! Its not over yet! Our conquering army has now reached the city of Slane, which is but a village. It falls with minimal resistance.
And lets take a look at the victory screen.
Ok so i made some careful use of the mimics as to not lose them, some green ones did die, mostly those with crappy promotions ( Because yeah, i had sort of mutated them
.
However one the the green ones that i mutated got freaking lucky and basically his mutations gives him +2 strength when attacking. I renamed him Epic Mimic, and this one is to be cherished
Most of the mimic reached their specialization level. I made about half of them attack specialist and the other half are Avengers or whatever you call the class that makes them attack the weakest troop in a stack.
Also I could not upgrade our hunters to Harlequins it seemed? Is this supposed to not work? Or maybe it needs to be done in a city with specific building like for horsmen or IDK...
Anyway, next player will have a huge fun with the elite army that we have. Lets finish the Elohim then go right for the Bannor. And dont mind the deficit budget, spoil of war can works wonders!
My approach with looting cottages was to loot them back to level 1 but not completely destroy them.
