Can't get enhanced User Interface to Work

I've been unable to get FDR's Unique Ability to work (there's no popup to choose between merchant points and engineer points whenever I select a new policy) so I posted in the new civ's forum about that, but I thought I'd ask people here about a different issue:

I downloaded the EUI (enhanced user interface) posted on this forum some time ago and placed it in my mods folder, along with Info Addict. Info addict works great, but the EUI is not even showing up as a clickable mod, nor is it in-game.

I'm on a mac (ugh!), running BNW, using steam (guh!).

Anyone else have this problem?

EUI is not a mod. It is built as a DLC. You need to follow the installation instructions for EUI: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=512263
