DG7 T2 Minister of Defense Operations HQ: Back in Bussiness

well we were never really ever out of bussiness, but we had a brief amount of days in which we might have been. also, a new term means a new HQ. We are now based in the Augean Stables, because they are the frontrunner for the Fanatikos defense and closest to the front lines. So lets get started!

Please do me a favor and post a thread about how we plan to deal with the constant barbarian threats coming from the southeast. I would like to see us gain enough strength in that region to have a proactive barb-hunt patrol on alert, It could add a decent amount to our bottom line, not to mention protect Civantonia from future attacks.

Deputy Governor of Civatonia writes: I suggested to CT in the build queue an additional hoplite to defend our roads from pillaging and city from population loss, and then a chariot/horsemen (once we get Horseback Riding, which will probably be soon) to go on the offensive.

my response the the letter written by the deputy of civatonia. a hoplite makes sense to me and is no problem. my problem is that HBR is a way off and an archer is just as good. we are currently researching philo unless we begin researching HBR i will continue to complain about no archers built. therefore i suggest the deputy of civatonia as well as the governor to build a hoplite and then an archer.

Minister, I humbly offer some movement suggestions that would really aid the Expatriate Governor.

The blue squares are what information we'd discover, while the red dot is Rome.

The blue squares and the yellow square are what information we'd discover, while the Persian-colored dot is Arbela. Yes, we're violating Persian territory, but they're so far north and it's for only one turn that it doesn't matter. The information we'd receive is far more valuable.

Do we have any resolution on the violation of Persian territory? I did a warrior dance around 1 city border last session because I didn't have specific orders.

Minister,
An interesting thread has opened that looks worth checking out, as the first part of it directly relates to our military force and it's size, as well as a Defense Startegy for our Nation, I hihgly suggest that you take a look at it.

In it I proposed a Reactionary Force Defense, that In my opinion is tailored specifically for our own needs and wants as a Military, the entire write-up is in the Thread which is located here

It would be best for Fanatikos if we further discuss this defense plan and it's posatives and negatives to our nation.

I look forward to your commentary and advice.

Mr. Minister of Defense,

Perhaps we should start discussing our defense plan more carefully, as the latest turncht reports say a swordsman and a warrior from France are approaching the Augean Stables. I know nobody would attack a foreign civ with such a force, but this is the AI. I think we should prepare our defense for a war against the French.

General, i think you should plan for war against France as well as Germany. Because Germany is currently surrounded by enemys and has never been agressive towards us. While france has swordsmen on our borders.
