Hi folks,

this is the Warlords variant of the 61*45 Europe Map with north Africa and the near East.

Download here:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=924

There are no goodie huts. Oil is hard to get for the western countries.

There are 11 civis: Spain, France, England, Germany, Rome, Greece,
Russia, Egypt, Carthage, Ottoman and Viking.

Unzip europa_61x45_WL.zip in the folder ...\Warlords\Saves\WorldBuilder

Enjoy

One question, one comment.

The Celts, and to an extent, the Arabs & Malis could or should be in europe, would you consider adding them, or would it cramp the game play?
Also, the Ottomans start position should be more northwest, unless your going for balance over historical acuracy.

Hi i am a bit of a beginner when it comes to editing maps in Civ4, i used to make my own maps in CIV2 & 3, but here i find it somewhat difficult.

Can anyone tell me how i can add more civilization in this europe map?? in the worldbuilder i can only choose the preselected Civs.

Any help would be usefull :goodjob:

Can you go into the WBS file in Notepad and add more civs? Save it, and then open it up in the game using the WorldBuilder.

Now this looks great. Most of the civs are swamped in west, and russia is all alone there to do some settler rushing :D

Love this map. been playing it nonstop for weeks, though I always get shredded.

can't wait for a good pre-made mid-east map like this.

Since the Austria mod has not be updated for Warlords yet I think I'll add the Americans (Washington) in their place. That part of the map seems a little empty. Maybe even the Celts in Ireland. England seems to have it pretty easy as there are plenty of resources on the island and plenty of room to expand.

Oh almost forgot, GREAT MAP

This is a great map, I would really like to add the Arabians and I don't know how to add more nations. Would somebody please be able to help with that?

Thanks

Check the tutorials section of this forum. There are several good "how to" sections. But beware! Once you start changing things it becomes addictive and soon you will be working on your own mod!
