Thanks Pounder! I am a big fan of your work too!
I have created a few more resources (OK 24 more). I am not posting these yet, as I don't want to repost the file every time I make a change, and I still have a few changes I'd like to make. The main reason for the update, is that for my current project I want the focus of the mod to be living off of the land. Many of the old familiar resources will be there, but in their natural, unprocessed form.
I also had a few old, unfinished resources lying around that I don't even intend on using anymore, but decided to finish them anyway in case one of you could use it. These are not quite ready yet, but patience....
The new resources start in the 6th cell, after the Rancor. They are:
Silkworm - First attempt. I like it in the file, but I don't like the way it looks in-game, hence the second, and IMHO much better attempt...
Coal - Still tweaking this one...
Hemp - again still tweaking this...
Coffee tree - Yes this is an actual coffee tree. I might replace it with a shrub, with visible coffee cherries though.... Too dark...
Grape Vines - Not as clear as I would like, and again too dark....
Leeches - Denizens of the marshes, these should have a -1 to food, and a +1 to gold. They serve an early and modern function, assisting in the medical field...
Poisonous Toad - Again a marsh, and perhaps Jungle dweller, that may assist your archery (and other) units by giving them the added punch of poison tipped weapons...
Rice - This one is just ugly
Rubber plant - though a bit dark, I like this one.
Shellfish - Tasty!
Oil bubble - Can you even tell?
Aluminum - This is indeed what Aluminum ore looks like...
Uranium - Again from many actual photos.
Alkanet - A plant commonly used for Dyes
Pogostemon heyneanus Patchouli - A plant commonly used for Incense
Basil - A commonly used spice
Elephant Remains - For all your dead elephant needs
Elephants - The other ones were just too big
Silkworms 2 - Much better
Gemstones - These I like quite a bit
Tar bubble - Again, can you even tell?
Douglas Fir - Tree commonly used for Lumber. Too Dark
Potato Plant - Good enough
Cotton Plant - Good enough
I'll be tweaking these, as well as finishing up a camel and llama resource. I'll also start taking resource requests, should anyone want any. I won't bother doing something like a lottery, as there is a greater need for units than there is for resources, and my talent pales in comparison to anyone who can make a decent unit anyway - but I promise to take a stab at any and all requests...
