Another guy from MEM: Brian Boru, High King of Ireland. Animated, single-era leaderhead; PCXs included.

Excellent; I was waiting for this to come out; though in AD I might use him as a different Celtic King than Brian Boru ;) .

This really is up there with Rob's Attila as one of my favorite LHs ever. I said it in the preview thread, but I'll say it here again - great work. :goodjob:
 
Hmmm, you would you ever consider making this LH with all era FLCs? The reason I ask is because I hate the King Ragnar LH that Firaxis put into the game and would love to replace him with this unit. He is really good and detailed but would even better with the other eras as well! ;)

If you do opt to make him for all eras, could I suggest giving him a more modern (e.g. less beard) as time progresses because the industrious and modern Ragnar eras were the main reason I hated him. He doesn't even remotely look as if he could be from modern day society, much less a politician that's leading a country.
 
Yeah, like the others have already said, this leaderhead—as well as the others—looks great. I really like the snarl in the angry expression; he appears quite haughty. Nice job.

Ahh the irony. Brian Boru was an Irish man who tried to rally Ireland against the Norsemen. He lost his life fighting the Norsemen of Dublin.:crazyeye:

Indeed, but ultimately all that counts is the outer appearance of a LH. Meaning, even Chinese LH could be substitued for a Vietnamese one...and those two nations hate each other immensely. ;)

Anyways, it's no secret that Celts and Germanic/Norse people are somewhat related so it should be do-able.
 
Thank you all for the comments. I won't be doing a 4 era version though. I'm sorry, it takes a lot of time / I don't have the needed props / I want to finish the mod - choose one of those excuses, or all three ;)

It was worth a shot though hehe. But I wouldn't mind you creating a little false hope for me by saying you'll consider it (although actually never intending to do so). That way I can at least clicnh onto a morsile of fake promise. :D

You know what? I'll download him anyways and see if I can fit him into any single-era mods. He just looks too damn good to go to waste!
