Warlords out of sync error question

All,

My friend has a Mac and whenever all of us (2 PC's and 1 Mac) play Warlords via direct IP, eventually we get an out of sync error and the culprit is always the Mac. All of us are patched to the current level.

My friend with the Mac can log out and come back in and it doesnt go away.

Any ideas why this keeps happening?

What sort of Mac does he have? If it's a PowerPC one and not Intel, I'll hazard a guess that there's a problem with incompatibility between the floating point implementations on the Mac and the PCs. This sort of issue has always haunted multiplayer games between the two processor systems. Your Mac-using friend should raise it with Aspyr.

I will ask him and find out.

He has a PowerPC (I think that is what he said)

I've had the same problem with my brother over GameRanger, and we both have Intel Macs.

So, can anyone with Warlords play an mplayer game?

If not, this is a serious bug and I am suprised more of you Mac owners are not up in arms about it.
