Help Wanted: Leaderhead Art Required

At C. Roland's suggestion, I'm started a thread listing some of the leaderhead art required for the project.

In some case, LH art does not exist and we need someone to put something together for us.

In other cases, we have LH art, but it is either based on an overused template or isn't really that well done (probably one I did. ) With the new LHs added by BtS, it may be time to re-visit some existing models.

It is probably not the face that I think would be the funniest to make, but it's nice to have Riel in game

By South Africa, what do you mean ? Is it a kind of Boer Civ (and Rabbit made a nice UU if it is the case)?

If it is not to much difficult, can tou list the leaders that you have planned for each ? It is because I'm planning to recycle some old leaders and it may help me to find who I can transform to who

We've decided to add a few more modern nations to 4.0. The goal is to cover, not only the world in a geographic sense, but in a historical sense as well. Thus, the Oxus and Yangshao are included at one end of the spectrum, and modern South Africa, Italy (and of course Canada, Brazil, etc.) at the other.

"Could be better" usually means that not much has been added to the LH besides a re-colour or that something is "off" - skin tone, for instance.

For Mexico, I don't know wich LH you are using, but he would be really easy to make with a recycled AstroTech (Final Frontier) Leader, so I'll do him if you can't convince me that the graphic you are already using is better (screenshot or link ?)

I've included Franz w/Austria in my 1790 AD for CIV Gold BTS scenario, but his eyes look weird. It'd be wonderful if anyone can fix this.

I could help with that if you need me, just PM me if you feel the urge.

BTW, I'll post my progress on that "yu" guy later.

I'm using Napoleon, and the LH is very simple. I'll post a screen tonight. Of course, I am always open to better LHs than the ones I do.

Hmmm, that's odd. There is an alternate Franz Joseph including in the BtS modula Austria. Maybe that's a better match.

Just as a suggestion, for those who haven't noticed, for Nigeria Obasanjo is no longer in power. Umaru Musa Yar'Adua is the new president and a better and more interesting leader. Obasanjo goes with the trend of power hungry and corrupt where Yar'Adua has shown he is a charismatic servant leader. If the leaderhead for Obasanjo is already under construction then keep up the good work but if not you may want to consider the current president as a better candidate. Good luck on 4.0 guys!

Updated the list to reflect completed work. Also, C. Roland added a LH of Hidalgo, which we already had but his version (as usual) is much better.

I may be interested but I'm still working on some leaders I wanted for my personal mod - Bolivar, some California leaders, George III, Ataturk...

Well, Bolivar is one we need, and we had Ataturk in an older version (but the LH was inaccurate). If you end up doing Ataturk, we may re-add him.

Either way, if you're doing Bolivar and Ataturk for your mod, we would love to be able to use them.
