What is the biggest carnivor in the world?

Are you talking size of the carnivore itself or the amount of meat said carnivore eats? Humans are the biggest carnivore on one hand. OR...

According to this site Ainwood is right. Biggest land carnivore is polar bear and sea carnivore is sperm whale and the whale is a whole lot bigger than the bear. So......
 
Well, not sure if the Killer-whale is the Sperm-whale, but that would be the largest "real" carnivore on Earth.

Other than that, I think philippe is referring to the largest lifeform on earth, an underground mushroom, which extends over several miles. And that one can also digest meat, although I would not refer to it as a carnivore. :yeah:
