I disagree with one thread for every turn. It is much easier to keep discussion going in a single thread - to be able to find a comment somebody made about an earlier turn, for example.
I STRONGLY urge the team to set up a discussion thread for each 'Turn Cycle' of 20 turns. The turn updates should also be posted in a Turn Update Turns (n) to (n + 20). This makes it very easy to refer to information posted by the turn player, and not clutter the update thread with many comments. This is how all the teams I've been on have organized it, and it works very well.
I also agree with James's post (I can't seem to find it?? EDIT: FOUND) that proposes a standard format both for turn updates and turn discussion, wherein the turnplayer posts topics for discussion.
