Does Rhye's and Fall work?

I'm curious.
Since I don't have a Mac, I'd like to hear from you which version of BTS shipped, and consequently, which version of Rhye's and Fall (you can check from the civiliopedia), assumed that it works.
 
BtS 3.17 shipped. We're expecting the 3.19 patch to be released soon.

It shipped with Rhye's and Fall bundled. The Readme in the mod says:

Updated to vanilla v1.981 – Warlords v1.481 – BTS v1.181

[EDIT] The mod loads, and the Civilopedia says it's v1.181
 
after loading, does it work correctly? Or anything going wrong?

I began a game with it yesterday, and I did not notice any anomalies related to performance, text errors, etc. Having just been able to play it though, I'm not familiar with progression.

I would like to take care of the release of updates for it, especially in case BTS for Mac gets patched to 3.19
I'd really appreciate if you could tell me what's the most convenient way (which programs) to build the DLL, and in case, which important tweaks do I need to do in order to make it run.
 
Actually, I've noticed one thing which I'm pretty sure was a bug. I recently started a game as Rome, standard 3000 BC scenario, and instead of quickplaying, it started me at 3000 BC with a settler and warrior, right where the city of Rome is. After 90 turns or so (Well after I'd built another city and conquered Greece) it destroyed my capital, spawned the normal 'Rome enters the game' spawn, and teleported all my land units and workers to the ruins to join the spawn I was supposed to have. Gameplay then proceeded as normal.
 
I have also experienced the problem where the game doesn't autoplay and just spawns a settler and a warrior. When I first tried the mod it worked perfectly but now it does not. I have installed the 3.19 and snow leopard so that might have something to do with it. I also have blue marble installed, but I tried restoring the normal custom assets folder but the problem still persisted.
 
The readme says

In other words, it is the same as the one Aspyr shipped with v3.17
 
Its as AlanH says. I also have blue marble installed, but I tried removing the custom assets folder and letting the default folder take its place but the problem still occurred.
 
I just looked at the readme. I didn't event drag the DVD out of its case to run the game. So it's not affected by anything else I may have installed.

Is it a "problem"?
 
I don't play Civ4, so I'm not sure I'd know whether it works or not. I've loaded the RFC 3000 BC scenario, it loaded up RFC and started a game. Checked the logs and there are no Python errors. Played a couple of turns with no problems.

The only slightly strange thing was that no unit was selected when it first displayed the game screen, so there was a slightly disturbing lack of controls on-screen until I clicked on the starting unit.
 
I was told they would have it updated to 1.185. It seems to me unlikely that they broke it releasing the patch leaving it with 1.181, which is compatible to 3.17. AlanH, does it work for you?

The readme is wrong. We updated to 1.185 for the Mac 3.19 patch, and it works for me.
 
I set the hide python exceptions to 0 in the CivilizationIV.ini and tried to play the 3000 BC scenario as the Greeks, but the problem still persisted and no pop-ups occurred. What should I do to be able to identify the error?
