Mini Mafia Game (Catchy Title Goes Here)

(This is my first Mafia game that I am hosting. I am relatively knew to this game, so please don't berate me if I make a mistake. That said, here goes nothing.)

There had been peace in the village of CFC for hundreds of years. Until the Mafia from the BIG City came, everyone trusted each other, but that was all about to change in the blink of an eye.

The citizens of CFC didn't know that they had been infiltrated until the first murder, when Museum Curator (DrumStudent) was killed while locking up the museum. They must now find and defeat the other mafia in the little town, before the mafia defeat them.

Rules:

1. This is going to be a relatively simple game. There are only a few roles and rules.

2. You may pass on communications from other participants.

3. Participate! If you do not, you will be WOGed, or lynched for inactivity.

4. Abide by the forum rules.

5. No giving info from me, the GM.

6. If you are dead, you may still post, but not give away any crucial info you may have. Dead men tell no tales.

7. Do your best! Don’t get discouraged if the game isn’t going as well as you had hoped.

Roles:

Townie: You get one vote every day. You have no other abilites.

Doctor: You may block someone from being killed once per night. You CANNOT target yourself.

Police Man: You may like your donuts, but after the murder, you now have the ability to investigate whether or not someone’s faction is to the Town of CFC, or to the BIG City Mafia. You may use this once per night.

Mafia Man: You and your fellow mafia men may kill one person per night. Do this in secret.

Da Boss: You boss those mafia around, but you secretly can find out who either the Police Man is or the who the Doctor is via your underground contacts (the GM).

Bounty Hunter: After being hired by the town, you can kill one person per the game.
There are only 10 spots available, due to the fact that I don’t have the ability to encompass more than that and play two games at the same time.

Use of the PM system is encouraged.

Slight rule change: added two new roles (Da Boss and Bounty Hunter), and changed Police Chief to Police Man.

What exactly does that mean? If they are on the mafia side, they should know who the mafia are? Or do they scan for the doctor or cop? And how do they boss the mafia around?

In the beginning, no one knows who each other are. So the mafia and the innocents both have a scanner, to balance it out.

By the way this is my first GM, and should the mafia know who each other are in the beginning? I only recently discovered this game with some friends, and I may be playing with some other rules.

Yes, it is a vigilante kill. Can only be used once.
A lot of the stuff I put up there for background/story reasons. The Bounty Hunter gets hired by the town, Da Boss bosses around the mafia, etc.

Once again, a minor change. The mafia all know who each other are, and Da Boss can find out who the Police Man is.
