I'm Not Crazy, YOU'RE CRAZY: A Dethy Mini Mafia

For those of us who have never played a Dethy before: there will be one serial killer and everyone else is a cop, each of differing sanities. Unlike most Dethys, I'll also include a random role that can benefit or screw over the town.

1. We have 24 hour days and 24 hour nights.
2. Don't reveal info after death.
3. Don't directly quote my PMs, paraphrasing is okay, though.
4. No screenshots.
5. No Private Messaging or creating QuickTopics with other players unless you message me, too

Night 0​

"Good evening, patients," said Dr. Luther.

"Good evening, Dr. Luther," mumbled his patients, in unison.

"Today is Day 472 of our talks. As you know, these talks are designed to help you become mentally healthy. Literally none of you have made any progress, even with the best drugs money can buy," said Dr. Luther. He briefly stared off into deep space, thinking about what sin he committed to deserve this punishment. Maybe his whole life was some big joke set up by a cosmic deity that ended with a punchline only said deity would get. Dr. Luther shook his head and returned to the real world.

"Well that's why your here at St. Syd's Home for the Clinically and Criminally Insane. You're all here because this Insane Asylum is dedicated to patients who are hard to cure. Hopefully one day we'll cure you guys of insanity. Anyways, I have some news. The first bit of news is that we have a new patient with us: Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones is a serial killer and was sent here because he pleaded insanity and was sent here by court order. We'll introduce you to him after my next bit of news, we're switching generators and we will be having power failures."

The lights started to flicker.

"Like that."

The lights turned off.

"Don't worry folks, it's temporary. There's nothing to fear. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"You told us there was nothing to fear," said BSmith1068.

"Yeah, shouldn't you be okay with this," said choxorn.

The lights turned back on, revealing the punchline of Dr. Luther's life. He dedicated his life to helping patients only for one of his patients to take his life. Oh the cosmic irony.

MartinLuther was killed!



"Good God, a murder!" screamed Riedquat.

"Not to worry," said SamSniped, "We're all mentally capable of solving this mystery, so why not solve it? I say we continuously accuse and kill each other for who was behind the crime until we finally kill of the criminal! Whose with me?"

"I am!" shouted everyone in unison.

"Good, let's do it!" shouted back SamSniped with enthusiasm.

Day 1 has started!

Private Occult Investigator Leo Spaceman looked around him. The last thing he remembered was dying, which was odd, because you don't generally remember that particular experience (OOC: He finally got lynched, but I don't remember the game). He didn't remember much of his time here. Regardless, he had been a "competent" investigator in his time, and so this at least seemed familiar...

Having nothing really to go off of, he voted for the first person he saw. Riedquat, I accuse you, because you happen to be first in the list, clearly a sign of guilt.

RNG vote: Legato Endless. Why does it not end? But he is at the end, he was the last to join… in the end.

I hear that vote: SamSniped is crazy.
