C3C PBEM : Blitz - WWII Europe scenario PBEM

Hi, this is the thread for the new PBEM game I plan on starting.
It is the PBEM number 2 for WWII Europe based on el Mencey's scenario and modified by the "zero" team.

People already signed in for that game but please confirm in this thread you are still interested. And choose the civ you want.

The game will start in one week (if full) to see how the PBEM 1 is going.

"Blitz" will be its name to separate it from the other WWII Europe PBEM.

It is for Conquests, using the modified scenario by el Mencey (I will send it to the players) and the patch 1.22.
So you need to have both Conquests and the patch 1.22 installed on your computer.

Players : 5 (Neutrals and small countries are played by the AI).

Strange nobody really wanted Germany. Scared of the responsabilites ? lol

Organization : the game will be called "Blitz" to be recognizable and when you get the game, send a mail to inform the sender you got it.

So I can't jump Krauthead until turn 11 or 12. Can I amass my forces near the border?

@ Sega : France is actually already taken. But if you really want to avoid "big" countries I can take England.

@romeothemonk : please confirm and choose a (non-selected) civ.

Don't be afraid of the size of the English. Albeit expect a long first turn !
I guess everybody was scared of the "big" countries and the neccessity to play them "well" as they are the ones that can make the difference.

If nothing wrong happens with the first team, expect a start this week-end.

Slate me up big guy. I am in kinda feast mode, so expect some slight lag in getting this game going unless I get this on Sat or Sun.
Expect some dastardly tactics from the new German low command, as the high command had an accident with crank and explosives.

You said I am supposed to generate the first turn, but The play order goes, Sweden, England, etc. This puts Germany about 5th in the play order. Awaiting clarification.

Damn it! I had set up the game, and was halfway through my turn (about 25 minutes) and then tried to contact the Dutch by right clicking their unit, but then got a "FILE NOT FOUND" error and the game exitted. So I'm going to have to start again, which i will do later.

Note to those who can do mods, etc. The leaderheads are all missing. You cannot start a singleplayer game either, or initiate diplo. If someone can fix these errors and then resend it would be great.

Uhh, after installing that thing to make it work proper, it still doesnt. You cannot enter a diplomacy screen with anyone without it crashing. Shame, I was about to finish my turn soon too......

Ok, i think I have sorted it out now. There are leaderheads, but they are not implemented in that screen where all of the leaders are, just when you are proposing deals and stuff to one nation. Should be started soon

Report from the English:

England considers that the recent build-up of German forces near France a Decleration of War to the free world. Also, we didn't like hitlers moustache, so we want to kill him. Britan urges all other countries to join us in this battle against the scum Germans. Instantly, we took the Northern City of Narvick, in a battle which was easily won. We also found a U-boat near America, which also violated our national security, so we disposed of it. It seems that the British people are not feeling particularily Nationalistic, so we are endevouring to correct this problem.

My turn took less than expected but since I cannot declare war and that my resources are scarce...

Personally now that the version we have seems to be working I am not in favor of restarting all over again.

Other opinions ?

Can we have a full set of rules to follow for this game?? Like the German not attacking Russia for ten turns rule.
