Starting Save
The next turnchat is scheduled for Wednesday 8/25.
2200PDT
0100EDT Thursday
0500GMT Thursday
0700CET Thursday

The CoC is as follows:

Vice President
Domestic Leader
Military Leader
FA Leader
Trade Leader
Culture Leader
Science Leader

This is not a discussion thread. The only posts allowed here are instructions by government members or their legally designated representatives only!

Fanatikku- Spear, Settler, Worker
Furuyama- Spear, Worker (optional for DP to queue), Spear
Immo- Settler, Worker, Warrior
Epoloenep- Temple, Worker, Spear
Zojoji- Temple, Worker

On Queue

Settlers: 2
Workers: 5
Warriors: 1
Spears: 4
Temples: 2

Note: As always, subject to change. That means speak up about what you don't like in the gov's thread.

Note: Worker in Furuyama is optional for one reason. The creation of it will put the city at size 1, where it either loses the gem mountains until regrowth, or it stays at size 1.

Settlement
Please settle according to the results of this poll: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=97916

Slider settings
The luxury slider may be set to 10% as necessary to keep order, and the science slider is to be set to maximize research while maintaining at least 0 GPT. If a tech can be researched in the same amount of turns, but with a lower science-setting and thus generating more income, lower the sci-slider to that setting.

EDIT: Poll results are in. Unfortunately, sites 2 and 4 are tied at 14 votes each. Therefore I have decided that site 4 will be settled first because it's the site more likey to be settled by someone else first. Here's the map with the settlement sites.

Finish Polytheism.
After that go for the 2nd winner of this Science Poll: Continue onto Literature or alter course ?, whci is Monarchy.

If all those techs have been obtained, please stop the chat. Not only for science reasons, but also to give revolution a chance.

The science department has not held any discussions nor polls for this turnchat. There was no need.

Have fun !!

Instructions are Null and in Void

Disclamer: Instructions will become null and in void if the trade leader posts his/her instructions

Do not implement the above trades, as they were not put to poll. We need to keep our tech lead for other opportunities.

Keep an eye out for new tech; do not trade Horseback Riding to the Iroquois; do not trade Iron Working to Rome(never) or Iroquois(only if they get something like Map Making). Try to get gold whenever possible, and consult Domestic on any trade expenditures. Please buy no foreign workers at this time.

FA Instructions, we need to keep the peace with all our neighbors, but I would like to watchlist the diplomatic relations of Rome and Babylon and Zulus on turn 1, 5 and 10, and maybe organize a trade of sorts if relations are poor.

Final (turn 8) save

Summary:
Met the French. All they had to trade was 10g and 2 workers, but trade instructions specifically said don't go for any workers. Founded Odawara on site 4, settler is moving towards site 2, another settler is in Immo, unmoved. Scouted the western border of Babylon and borders of some towns. The PDX-like site to the south has 3 cattle and a wheat, all on plains. Looks like it would get 30 shields as a FP site.

Chat ended because no definitive location for the newest settler.
