Province of Ameri - Term 3 (second thread)

This is the new thread for the province of Ameri, the previous governor of which has, sadly, resigned. It appears I am to take his position. (you can take a look at his mandate here)

I thank everyone for voting for me, I will try to do my best and even further enrichen our beautiful lands.

Cities:

• Civanatoria (University / Bank [or military] / Courthouse [or military])
• New York (Hospital / Courthouse / Police Station

After the province borders redesign proposal is accepted and put into use, Ameri will:

• have a land area of 13500 square miles (34965 square km), which is approximately 1/5 of the total Phoenatican land area
• own 3100 square miles of water (8029 square km), which is approximately 1/6 of all Phoenatican water
• have a total territory of 16600 square miles (42994 square km)

My fellow Amerians and Phoenaticans,

Our great province has been plagued by corruption. From what our investigations have shown so far, the previous governor was busy working on a way to reduce corruption. Unfortunately, some of the corrupted citizens in high positions have put pressure on him, forcing him to resign and effectively continuing to rob our fine province of its treasury and taking over scientific projects using them for personal benefits.

Our studies show that more than fifty percent of all production and commerce is lost to corruption.

We have proof of these misconducts, but, unfortunately, they are to be used where our laws have no effect. I am, therefore, planning to build courthouses throughout our province, helping restore the integrity of the administration among our citizens.

I am also hereby encouraging higher officials to conduct a similar investigation nation-wide, as I am concerned about the growing number of resigning officials.

I would second all your decisions.
