I have colored the tanbuttons (i.e. Disband, Forify, Build City, Recon, Build Mine, etc.) I colored every single one. The only problem is it is only for Civilization III (Not 'Play the World'). If one does put this for Play the World, it will delete PTW buttons...so beware! Hehe...Well here are the instructions.
INSTRUCTION:
First go to Infogrames/Civilization III/ Art/interface and delete or rename a file called tanbuttons. (If renaming it, best to rename it tanbuttons-original). Then put the colored tanbuttons in interface, and if the colored tan buttons aren't renamed tanbuttons, you won't have any buttons and the game will, perhaps close down.

- how exactly do the different button files work ?? (i noticed highlited, normal, transparent and blue buttons)
