This will be an online session. Ravensfire will be the DP for this session.

Summary

We are poised to discover Industrialization and create the Theory of Evolution. This will allow us to start the Great Wonders of Universal Suffrage and Hoover's Dam.

Barring an unusual event, I plan to complete at least 5 and up to 10 turns, depending on instructions from leaders.

Please reserve this thread for instruction posts by Department Leaders. This is not a discussion thread.

Since there are no changes, Possibly the Instructions from the Previous Chat can be transfered to here.

PS, the Purple is my voice :p.

Couldn't help myself there! If you don't mind, I'll continue the use. My preference is dark red, the Mod color.

For the instructions, this is a new term and each official is entitled to post their instructions. At their option, they may post the previous instructions. I will leave that up to each official.

I'm sorry Mr. President, but I can't attend the scheduled T/C later today. It's too late in the night for my timezone.

Buildqueues Esquiline

BQ_14751.JPG

irrigate the 4 tiles west of the hills, between Dinas Emrys and Coneland.
Shields have no use there, food has. Of course the workers build by Esquiline should immediately be put to work to Railroad the mined hills near Gorina. When that is finished, they should railroad the mined hills near Tyvek. After that use them for the Railroad through Quirinal. After that put them to work the way you desire.

To end the debate on timezones; check this link:

@DZ - The Logs and links to the save is updated in the above post (Ie above yours DZ ;))

My apologies to all citizens of Fanatica. I was quite excited for this, my first turn chat. We got through three turns, when I was rather rudely interrupted by reality. In this case, a situtation had developed at work that required my attention. I was forced to end the chat after three turns.

And yet, even in darkness, fate has given us a ray of light to guide us. If the chat were to stop early, this was perhaps the best point. We have seen the work on "The Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin - a monumental shift in thinking.

Inspired by this, scientists throughout the land made tremendous breakthroughs, developing theories about "atoms" and "electricity". Perhaps you have seen a bright light on the horizon? It is the Presidential Palace, built all those years ago, glowing though the night, illuminated by the efforts of man, not nature! Our cities are starting to become more industrious, as citizens find jobs in factories that our cities are starting to produce.

You may have also seen or heard the voices of a few women in Fanatican society, clamoring to be heard. They are demanding the right for all persons to make their voice heard in elections. It will take some time, but I am sure of their success, sure they will bring Universal Suffrage to all! At the same time, Fanatica is showing the world that even the might of Nature herself can be stopped as we are starting to dam the mightiest river in our land. The Dam will provide power to all citizens, drastically improving the capacity of the new factories! It is a long, long path to walk, but we have started it.

Our scientists are now clamoring for funding to return. After 15 long years of minimal funding, the coffers of Fanatica are flowing with gold! We must find uses for this gold, and leverage the sacrifices made to improve all.

Finally, the workforce of Fanatica is slowly, but surely being retasked. Already, the railroad is creeping it's way through Quirnial. More and more cities are being connected to the system each year. This will continue until all cities are connected! Several work gangs are being dedicate to other functions, such as improving wonder cities, and general development within a specific province. There is a lot to be done, and not enough hands, but progress it being made.

This century is nearly over, let us celebrate the triumphs of the the past, and the glorious possibilities the future holds for Fanatica!
