Please use the "title" part of your instruction post to state your office title.

Objective: My intention is to play 10 turns, barring something unusual, so please try to have instructions for that length. I plan to finish the war with Japan and either return us to peace, or place us in a position to do so.

Please use the following compass for directions:

Only elected/appointed officials may post in this thread!

Luxury:
Use the slider or specialists, whichever is most cost and production effective to keep our cities from rioting. Stop the chat if War Weariness gets to the stage where we need to switch governments.

Science:
Maintain high Science to achieve to research techs as fast as affordably possible. –gpt is acceptable as long as we can afford it and any rushes requested for the Japanese continent. Always check over the last few turns and reduce the science rate if it is possible to do so.

In case of emergency it is allowable to reduce science slightly to gain some additional gold necessary.
Do not let our treasury run dry!

Treasury Spending:
Rushes on the Japanese continent should be given priority. Troop upgrades can be carried out if necessary.

Wonders:
Build one if we get a leader otherwise wait..

Great Leaders:
Use leaders to build available wonders or hold them for later as appropriate. Please note: there is an Army in the Transports off our Northern coast.

Colonies:
Preferably use non-German or French slaves to build colonies if we need to, but other nationalities may be used if necessary.

Workers:

Clear pollution by our cities as a priority.

Natives, French and German Slaves may be joined to cities if they can be freed from other tasks, please stacks workers for efficiently railing/improving as necessary.

The DP may use Workers to road/rail to the front lines or blockade as needed by Minister of Defence or as necessary, just make sure the Workers are left in a safe position or adequately protected. There are some holes in our home continent defences as Workers were used to clear pollution and can be put back now they have done so.

Workers can be used to build airfields if required.

Please note: There are many unused Bombers that can reduce Japanese defences in cities or sink the Ironclad near the southern tip of the Japanese continent or redline the Infantry near where London was for example. Lethal bombardment is very useful – it’s often possible to bomb the cities down to nothing then just walk in.

NOTE: Session paused mid-turn 1 to visit my sister and newborns!

Summary:
Japan was reminded of what happens to upstarts that try to act bigger than they are. In 1790, the last vestiges of their civilization was removed from the world. Shortly thereafter, Persia was reduced to a pair of cities.

We've now got the option to make peace with Persia and Rome or conquer the small island and leave only the island city of Persia.

Whew - we got home quite late. The twins are in the NICU, so you couldn't see much besides tubes and wires, but still ... Best of all - everyone's doing fine!

I did see his instructions, and have been using them. I'll pick the game backup around 5:30ish CST (2300 GMT) tonight.
