As soon as Mansa Musa founded Islam, I had a feeling this might happen. AI likes to spread the first religion it founds and switch to it, regardless of how late it is. And yup, there you have it:
He was Buddhist, and so was most of his continent (except for the kicked dog Suleiman the Jew). His nemesis Gilgamesh reconciled numerous times due to religious similarity. Not again, I'd say!
This is probably the first time I've seen Islam have an actual effect in the game. And immediately it's huge. I love it! The religions give so much flavour to the game, because there's a standard pattern that almost always happens, and when it doesn't it really makes the game special.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Mansa Musa is probably the most likely to pull this off with Islam, seeing as he's a religion nut who starts without mysticism.
